Tom Saunders, Managing Director

Tom joined Opportunity Global as Managing Director in 2011. Previously, Tom worked as Programme Director for SIFE UK, and as an Enterprise Consultant and Training Provider for Higher Education institutions in the UK and China. He has spent a lot of time living and working around the world and is in his element working across cultures in the field of education.

Jake Collings, School Exchange Programme Manager

Jake has been working with Opportunity Education for five years, and most recently as the UK School Exchange Programme Manager. He has been working in Education for ten years, teaching English to secondary age children, and working as a careers lead for a secondary school, linking Business and Education together to help students gain new and exciting experiences. He has also worked with schools in Colombia, Ecuador, Holland, Germany, Spain, and China and is passionate about cultural exchange, aiming to give students wider global perspectives on important issues in education at the current time.

Stephanie Day, Operations Manager

Steph has a first class degree from the University of Exeter, and has a wealth of experience in managing international partnerships. Since 2014 she’s overseen Opportunity Global’s operational activities, and her team maintain relations with partner schools, agents, clients and Opportunity Global Ambassadors. She also conducts many of the Teach Global Graduate Program candidate interviews.

Sophie Jones, Immersion Programme Manager

Sophie has been working with Opportunity Education for three years as an English teacher and Immersion Programme Coordinator, and most recently as Immersion Programme Manager. She studied French and History at the University of Sheffield and spent a year teaching English in Primary Schools in France, linking her passion for language and cultural exchange with developing global links in education. She has spent a lot of time working with international students, aiming to welcome visiting students to the UK, practise speaking English and help them to settle into the community.

Will Perrins, Global Partnerships Manager

Will is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with partner institutions worldwide and manages the recruitment of enthusiastic, native speaking English teachers for schools across the globe. Before joining Opportunity Global in 2016, Will had experience living and working Japan and China.
